Industry trade associations, such as the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT), play important roles in giving a voice to the roofing industry and sharing best practices.
Bill Johnson was RCAT’s president in 1980 as well as from 1996 to 1998. His daughter Sherri Johnson McDonald was RCAT’s president in 2018, making this father-daughter duo the sole parent-child past president of RCAT. Today, Sherri continues to serve on RCAT’s Board of Directors.
Johnson Roofing’s membership in the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Associated General Contractors of America Central Texas Chapter offers a wealth of resources to the benefit of our customers. Both associations serve as voices of the construction industry and offer continuing education.
In 2019, we developed Standard Operating Procedures for every aspect of our business and became ISO 9001 compliant in 2022. ISO 9001 compliance focuses on decision-making that establishes policies, procedures, and processes that align with the specifications.
And our A+ rating on bbb.org provides customers peace of mind.
“I grew up in RCAT. The RCAT Conference was our family’s summer vacation every year. I was exposed to everything about roofing my entire life. “
